I am honored to be a Singapore girl, here are some pictures of the world renowned Singapore girl. Some are of my owns including my training days. People have always asked what are our rules and regulations, well here are a few. Also to clarify, Yes all Singapore Girls in television and print ad’s are real working SQ’s girls picked from the isles to grace in our campaign.
-Hair must be black or dark brown. No highlights allowed. Long hair must be coiffed neatly into a bun. Short hair should be above the collar line. Fringe should not touch the eyebrow.
-No fanciful, dangling earrings allowed. Only studs or pearls.
-No chains and necklaces allowed.
-A spare kebaya must be brought for every flight, even short one-hour flights.
- Safety shoes, or covered sandals must be worn during takeoff and landing. At other times, she should wear the batik slippers. Toenails must be of the bright red color prescribed by the company.
-If her toenails are not paited, stockings must be worn to subsitute for the non red toenails.
- Eyebrows must be shaped, and cannot be the fake drawn-on or tattooed types.
- Eye shadow must be of the color prescribed by the company - either blue or brown, depending on skin tone.
- Lipstick color must be among the few shades of bright red prescribed by the company. Pink or plum colors are not allowed.
- Nail polish must be of the bright red color prescribed by the company. Nails should not be chipped.
- Only simple bracelets and rings can be worn
-Only small and simple watches can be worn.

There will always …
There will always be a mediocre flight, even on SIA. No airline is indeed perfect, there will always be ups and downs. However SIA’s level of service still remains the most consistence and professional of any major airlines. There are more amazing flights then bad ones on SIA. They are the best.
SQ Service honestly …
SQ Service honestly speaking has gone down a little. I personally prefer their old service. BUT.. when travelling overseas.. SQ will still be my number 1 choice.Nothing beats the comfort of flying with SQ.. I dare say our crew members are one of the best in the world!! Keep up the good work SQ!!

Singapore airlines …
Singapore airlines are the best! The staff are so nice! and I love the hostess uniform! The ladies always look so neat and fresh I hate travelling and I feel so blahh but somehow the fact the hostesses look so neat it makes me feel better. is that weird? haha!
SQ does hire people …
SQ does hire people from the P.I, but its really rare. Happens only once in a while. We mainly hire people from Malaysia, indo, China, Japan and Korea.
true CX won Airline …
true CX won Airline of the year for 2006 but unlike SQ, CX only got that title once. SQ on the other hand received that title 3 times (2004,2007 and 2008). They also snag “Best airline in Asia”

Singapore Airlines is the best in the world. A combination of really excellent service and Rolls Royce powered aircraft give me a nice feeling when I fly with them. Infact it was Singapore Airlines that gave RR the breakthrough. They want to give the best but they expect the best from others.

Singapore airlines the very best airline in the world. It was they (Singapore Airlines) that paved the way for Rolls Royce with the Trent series. After that everyone else followed. Love Singapore excellent service and RR engines when I fly - and that is very often.

I flew both Singapore and Cathai business class… I never experienced anything like it since. And the stewardesses were all very hot too.

to my knowledge the IFS is pretty rare and you dont really see her as much because i believe there are only a few hundred of them compared to the few thousand cabin crew.

yeaaapp told you its brown. I thought it was purple to but when i took sq001 to hong kong i met and spoke to an IFS and she told me herself thats its brown. It did look burgundy on the plane but on the grown it looked like a light brownish color. Anyways check out SQTALK theres a whole thread about the brown kebaya
