Ever since I started learning reading the clock at 32 months, I’ve been using time to negotiate with mom and dad about playtime and bedtime. Example: Mom says, “bath time is at 6:30pm so you’ll be in bed by 7:00″ Often I’d ask for 10 more minutes, “can I go up at 6:40 Mom? and be in bed by 7:10 pm. instead?” It definitely eliminated my tantrums. I obey and respect time because I’m able to control and manage myself. I understand there are 24 hours(earth spins) in a day and I read military time as well.
