Bus driver feigned injury and accused tourist of whacking him in extortion attempt for medical fees. The depths that someone would stoop for money.
When we refused to budge, they threatened to chop off somebody’s hands and the man in black jacket used vulgarities & showed his “middle finger” ( however this was not captured on the clip after verbal threats made by the ah beng in red ).
The Ah Beng in red almost wanted to wallop me for videoing the commotion.
This travel agency provided us a lousy bus with faulty brakes driving on mountainous route ( they totally disregard safety of passengers ), a unknowledgeable tour guide who slept most of the time, a reckless bus driver who smoked on bus & brought a girlfriend along the trip!
They are one “TOUR OPERATOR FROM “. And for those daredevils, who are seeking for “thrill, excitement & drama”, look no further……..Dong Feng @ Apollo Centre, Singapore is your gateway to !

This dishonest lousy travel agency not only cheated me but also their own comrades.

One night, the bus broke down on a mountain; we waited a few hours before help arrived. That time was autumn, can you imagine what the temperature was like up on a mountain? We were all cold, tired & hungry…….cannot even answer the nature’s call (because it was pitch dark outside the bus, you cannot see a thing on the mountain).

The problematic bus caused delays (we were seriously behind schedule/ itinerary) & upset the whole trip — no meal, no hotel, no sightseeing. Just to summarize, the travel agency did not deliver what they have promised after collecting the money from us.

I have travelled far & wide and been to China a couple of times, my previous China trips were enjoyable (though was tough) until this recent Shangrila Trip in 2006 operated by this hooligan tour operator located in ChengDu. I would say this unfortunate trip was indeed “memorable”.
