Let’s stop foriegn workers ill treatment in Singapore
We felt the sting when we saw our local Trishaw uncle being bullied by foreigners.
Many less privileged than ourselves travel to Singapore in search of a better future.
Foreign workers abuse, be it physically , mentally or emotionally and even spiritually has always been an issue, overseas or local. Like us, these foreign workers who come from abroad have loved one and fellow countrymen where they came from.
There’s a spa saloon in Singapore which handles their staff (mostly foreign workers) in manners which borders on illegal (there’s a female foreign worker in there working 12 hours at day, at times more, 6 days a week) conditions, undermining Singapore’s efforts to be a gracious society. Most of these foreign workers don’t dare speak up for fear of losing even the relative golden opportunity of working in Singapore.
